Flo Good Technologies LLC is an eco-focused consumer products company dedicated to reducing plastic waste by replacing single-use plastic straws with sustainable alternatives that actually work. The company was founded with the belief that environmental responsibility should never require sacrificing performance or practicality.
Flo Good Technologies develops and supplies durable, compostable drinking straws made from PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate), a biodegradable material designed to perform like traditional plastic while breaking down naturally over time. These straws are built to withstand both hot and cold beverages, giving cafés, restaurants, and consumers a reliable alternative to plastic and low-quality paper straws.
About the Co Founders
Co-founder Florinda Good-Gonzales has family roots in Guatemala, a country facing severe plastic waste challenges. Like many regions around the world, Guatemala struggles with large amounts of imported plastic waste and limited recycling infrastructure. Seeing this global imbalance helped shape Flo Good Technologies’ purpose: to reduce the amount of plastic entering the environment and help shift the food-service industry toward sustainable materials.
